Stephen Peters takes charge of football matters at Bracknell Town

Further off the pitch changes at Larges Lane

An off the pitch reshuffle at BetVictor Isthmian League South Central Division One side Bracknell Town has seen Stephen Peters take charge of football related matters at the club from CEO Kayne Steinborn-Busse.

In an email to Football in Berkshire, Mr Peters confirmed he had taken on the position and was now the point of contact for all football matters at Larges Lane.

The move comes after Bracknell parted company with manager Sam Lock after just five months and appointed former boss Mark Tallentire and head coach Aaron Steadman to ‘steady the ship’.

The Robins are ninth in the division on 14 points – their last league fixture a 2-1 defeat at Chertsey Town that was followed by Lock’s departure.

Peters is the Academy Director at Bracknell, and said the Bracknell News’ Dave Wright: “With Tally and Steads now taking the lead, we have a wonderful mix of experience and innovative management ideas. Both will get our full support in their transitional period.”
