Bracknell Town and Slough Town meet at Larges Lane on Tuesday night for what promises to be a great night of cup football in the quarter finals of the Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Cup.
The Robins will welcome two former stalwart players back to the Lane in the shape of Rebels managers Jon Underwood and Neil Baker who have both admitted ‘it’s a big thing for us’ and both sides feature players who have represented either club – not least influential Bracknell midfielder Jamie McClurg.
Bracknell have though issued a warning to supporters heading to the game around car parking with a larger than usual crowd expected to descend on the Lane. The club tweeted: “With a larger than normal crowd expected for tomorrow night’s game against Slough Town, we are advising supporters who are driving to the game to allow extra time to park, we have 130 spaces close to Larges Lane but alternative parking can be found around the new town centre.

The Robins have also dedicated the match to Slough Town’s physiotherapist of 32 years Kevin McGoldrick who sadly passed away last week. Bracknell will hold a collection during the fixture with proceeds going toward funeral costs.
