Results from day 1 at Bracknell’s Larges Lane’s festival of football

Day 1 at Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane’s Festival of Football saw wins for Eversley & California and Binfield in the two games played.

Bracknell kicked things off but were 2-0 down against their Combined Counties Division 1 opponents in the 2pm kick off with Cameron Miller getting one of the Boars goals.

Dan Roberts, the Bracknell youngster pulled one back for the Robins but it wasn’t long before Nick Cooper made it 3-1 to Eversley.

Roberts pulled another back for Bracknell and was then replaced by Kensley Maloney who pulled things back to 3-3 before Eversley made it 4-3.

In the 6pm game – doubling as the Martin Joyce Memorial Trophy – between Binfield and Wokingham & Emmbrook the Moles took a 2-0 lead. An improved Sumas performance in the second saw them score twice but Binfield took the trophy and the match 3-2 at full time.

Day 2 begins at 2pm on Sunday with Wokingham & Emmbrook against Eversley & California followed by Bracknell vs Binfield at 6pm. Full details on the fixtures including ticket prices here.
