Win keeps Bracknell Town in Hellenic Premier title hunt

Bracknell Town brushed aside Longlevens on a sunny Saturday afternoon at Larges Lane to keep alive their Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division title hopes with a 4-1 win.

The Robins trail Thame United by two points and are relying on the current leaders to drop points in one of their last two games of the season to claim a title for which they were favourites up until Tuesday night.

Bracknell of course must win all of their final matches and made short work of Longlevens with Adam Cornell scoring a hat-trick, two before half time and his third in the second half while Kensley Maloney scored the Robins fourth.

Not such a good day for Ascot United who’s final home game of the season finished in a 5-1 defeat to Highworth Town at Ascot Racecourse.
