It was all square in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East Berkshire derby as Sandhurst Town and Wokingham & Emmbrook played out a 1-1 draw at Bottom Meadow.
Sandhurst led at the break before Craig Haylett equalised for Wokingham, and the Fizzers could have won it at the death but had a goal disallowed in the final minute.
Finchampstead picked up their first win of the season – a 4-1 win at Wantage Town Reserves, and they were the first scorers of the afternoon when Matt Lambert put the blues 1-0 up after two minutes.
Sam Green made it 2-0 on 11 minutes and Harry Swabey scored the third with barely quarter of an hour gone.
Finch completed their scoring before half time when Jim Wright scored his first goal for the club with a 25 yard volley.
There was no fairy tail point for AFC Aldermaston sadly as they were beaten 3-2 at Bicester Town.
The home side led 3-0 on 40 minutes and looked like they might just run away with it, but in the second half Pete Wareing had other ideas scoring twice and then seeing Kai Parton Edey have a goal disallowed on the full time whistle.
