Binfield Reserves advanced to the final of the Ascot & Fielden Cup this afternoon courtesy of a 4-2 win over Iver Heath at Hill Farm Lane.
The Moles – who’s manager Ellis Woods stepped up from the Allied Counties Youth League side this season – were four goals to the good at half-time but Heath – who were runners-up in last seasons competition came back into the game in the second half with two goals.
We’d like to congratulate Ellis and his young side on this achievement. The final is usually held at Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane ground.
