We may all still be in thrall to the Women’s European Championships taking place in England this summer, however there will soon be club football to turn our attention to.

Reading will open their 22/23 WSL campaign with a home fixture against Liverpool. Newly promoted to the top flight, Liverpool contain two former Reading players in the form of goalkeeper Rachael Laws and Northern Ireland international Rachel Furness.

Fixtures will ordinarily be played on Sunday afternoons, however this is obviously dependent on matches being chosen for television coverage.

In November Reading will host Manchester City before travelling to Birmingham where they will re-unite with former club captain Tash Harding who has signed for Aston Villa.

The Berkshire club end their season with the daunting visit of reinging WSL champions Chelsea.
