Kickie Dzimba returns to former club as Adam Richards announces retirement

Former Holyport attacker Kickie Dzimba has returned to Summerleaze on a dual registration with Southern League Central Division One Marlow.

The popular forward was with Binfield last season as well as Ascot United but will return in a huge boost to joint managers Lee Ovens and Dan Rapley who have also added Finn Scott from Marlow and Joseph Osaba.

Sadly, news has also reached Football in Berkshire that former Bracknell Town midfielder Adam Richards has retired. In thanking former clubs that included Marlow and Harrow Borough, Richards wrote on social media: “After nearly 400 games over 14 years, my knees have finally got the better of me. We had a good go.”

Of the current Robins players, Joe Grant celebrated 250 appearances for Bracknell following Saturday’s FA Cup win over Tadley Calleva, while it was confirmed George Hunt has departed the club by mutual agreement.

Thatcham Town have also been busy, bringing in former Royal Wootton Bassett Town defender Aaron Voller for a third spell with the West Berkshire side.
