Combined Counties League Premier Division North Holyport have added several signings as they look to earn a play-off spot.
It’s not quite ‘slamming shut’ as the transfer window in the professional game is want to do, but the trickle through of confirmations following last Thursday’s deadline is always slightly slower at non-league level.
Striker Mitchell Parker has signed on with the side who will likely battle it out with Burnham for the final play-off space at the end of the season.
Parker is dual-signed with Marlow in the Southern League and Binfield in the Isthmian, he was also signed with Woodley United in the Combined Counties League but this registration will have switched to Port.
As well as Parker, Holyport boss Adam Hopkins has added Bracknell Town goalkeeper Michael Eacott and Marlow’s Harry Hoath. All three presumably signed for a play-off tilt as their sides still have games to go this season.
Binfield meanwhile added Erick Kenko from Snodland Town having previously been in Fulham’s Academy and Kai McKenzie on ‘work experience’ from AFC Wimbledon for the remainder of their Isthmian League campaign.
Southern League Premier Division South Hungerford Town added midfielder Billy Stedman from Sholing FC as they look to make a late run at the play-offs while Vanarama National League South Slough Town handed 19-year-old Balu Makumbi a one year contract after the central defender impressed on dual-registration this season.
