FA Women’s Championship side Reading FC Women have confirmed three departures from the club.

Youngster Freya Meadows-Tuson has departed for FA Women’s National League Maidenhead United while Rose Kite’s contract has been terminated by mutual consent.

Meadows-Tuson has joined the Magpies – who play in Division One South West – on a dual-registration meaning she is still eligible for the Royals in the County Cup.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Kite – a summer signing from Oxford United – has decided to pursue other opportunities. At Reading, she was battling for the number one spot alongside on-loan Chelsea stopper Emily Orman and Northern Irish goalkeeper Jacqueline Burns who is on the road to recovery from injury.

As well Kite and Meadows Tuson, Freya Gregory has also left the Select Car Leasing Stadium to return to parent club Aston Villa in the FA WSL.
