Striker Ben Harris has become the latest Slough Town player to join Southern League Premier Division South Bracknell Town.

Harris links up with former Rebels teammate Guy Hollis at the club as the Robins look to push on into the play-off places.

The striker had spent four seasons with Slough in the Vanarama National League South but left following the recent changes at the club. He had been with former club Windsor briefly and we expect him to stay dual registered with the Royalists.

Harris however is cup-tied for Bracknell’s FA Trophy tie on Saturday afternoon having previously featured for Slough against Hanwell Town this season.

A Bracknell return

Harris’ move is in fact a return to a former club, as with Windsor, the striker has history with Bracknell.

In 2012, with the Robins struggling in the Hellenic League Premier Division, Harris along with Mick Woodham and a number of Windsor youngsters joined Bracknell in a bid for a great relegation escape.

Bracknell ultimately suffered a drop to Step 6 at the end of the season but Harris and Woodham gave Robins fans plenty of hope and fight.

We imagine it’ll be much the same during his second spell.
