A familiar face has returned to Southern League Premier Division South side Bracknell Town in the shape of striker Liam Ferdinand.

New Bracknell managers Carl Withers and Jamie McClurg have sealed a one-month loan deal for ‘Ferdi‘ from Vanarama National League South side Farnborough – his third spell with the Robins.

Withers and McClurg of course know Ferdinand well, the striker led the line as the then Binfield managers took the village side to Wembley in the final of the FA Vase and have both been team-mates with their new signing during their own respective playing careers.

Ferdinand initially joined Farnborough in the summer having impressed playing against the Hampshire side for Met Police the previous season.

As well as bringing in Ferdinand, Bracknell have added Kameron English on a similar short-term loan from National League South Hungerford Town.

English joined Hungerford in the summer from Marlow where he has had several spells, also turning out for the likes of Hendon, Harrow Borough and Hayes & Yeading United.
