Thatcham Town’s FA Vase winning goalscorer Shane Cooper-Clark has re-signed for the West Berkshire club.

Free-scoring Cooper-Clark made his name with the Kingfishers in the 2017/18 Vase Final at Wembley Stadium when he scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 1-0 win over Stockton Town.

The striker scored a colossal 62 goals that season and had bagged impressive numbers prior to that with Bracknell Town having also played for Binfield and Wokingham & Emmbrook.

As well as Cooper-Clark, Thatcham have announced a number of other signings including goalkeeper Chris Rackley – another of the Vase winning side – as well as a host of re-signings including Brad Pagliaroli, Will Frank and Andy Gunn.

The full list of retained players announced by the Kingfishers so far is: Alex Fragata, Tinashe Gwavava, Lamar Koroma, Kieran Jordan, Pagliaroli, Frank, Gunn, Will Wyatt and Harvey Harry.
