Pitching In Isthmian League South Central Division One side Bracknell Town have bolstered their defence with the signing of former Staines Town centre back Temi Eweka.

According to the Isthmian League website: “Temi spent last season at Staines Town, and played a big part in seeing them turn around a disastrous 2019-20 to finish the rather short 2020-21 season in second place, even weighing in with a couple of goals.”

Announcing the signing on Twitter, the club said: “Temi is a powerful defender with leadership qualities who has skippered previous teams. Everyone at BTFC would like to welcome Temi to the club.”

Eweka is one of three recently announced new faces at the Robins with Dave Tarpey and James Clark also joining Bobby Wilkinson’s side.

Eweka himself wrote the move was a ‘no brainer’: “Happy to be on board. After speaking to the gaffer it was a no brainer. Can’t wait to get started.”
