Slough Town’s ever present goalkeeper Jack Turner has announced his departure from the Rebels after four years at Arbour Park.

The Vanarama National League South side will be on the hunt for a new number one following Turner’s announcement on social media.

Turner goes with the clubs blessing with manager Neil Baker writing: “As I said yesterday from that first meeting we all realised our ambitions! Some incredible moments together!! Frome and Chelmsford away two of the best saves I have ever seen live!! Wish you and the family nothing but the best.”

Turner made 175 appearances for the Rebels, keeping 46 clean sheets as the club rose up the divisions and was voted Managers Player of the Season 2017/18 and Supporters Player of the Season 2018/19.

The ‘keepers debut came in August 2017, a 2-1 defeat at home to Kettering Town, having come through the ranks at Staines Town and spent several seasons with AFC Wimbledon.
