Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East Wokingham & Emmbrook have snapped up talented young midfielder Brandon Curtis.

The Sumas have signed Curtis from division rivals Woodley United where he played five times for the Kestrels this season.

Curtis was previously a member of the much-heralded Maidenhead United Youth Team where he played 10 games last season and 29 in 2018/19.

Curtis, who featured for the Magpies first team last season in the County Cup tie with Binfield, joins Max Laschok in departing The Rivermoor club in recent weeks.

Ahead of Lockdown 2 in November and the cancellation of fixtures, the Sumas are sitting pretty and unbeaten at the top of the Hellenic Division One East. Dan Bateman’s side have won five and drawn two of their seven games so far.

Likely challengers Risborough Rangers have won five from five while Holyport in second have played two games more and mirror the Suma’s record but with two additional defeats.
