Former Bracknell Town and Thatcham Town midfielder Harrison Bayley has been snapped up by his former boss to join Vanarama National League South Hungerford Town.
Bayley was part of the Thatcham side under Danny Robinson that lifted the FA Vase at Wembley Stadium in 2018 and also lifted the Hellenic League Premier Division title that same season.
Robinson of course is the new manager at Hungerford Town and has signed his former player from Marlow where he played in the weekends FA Cup tie at Bracknell.
A crowd favourite wherever he has been, Bayley has previous National League experience with Hayes & Yeading United but has also played locally for Bracknell where he helped the Robins to the Isthmian League South Central Division One play-off final, as well as Binfield and he was previously captain of Highmoor IBIS.
Bayley’s debut came in Tuesday night’s 3-0 win at home to Chippenham Town, he was cup-tied for Saturday’s FA Cup trip to Truro City.

A statement on the Crusaders website said: “Hungerford Town is delighted to announce that debutant Harrison Bayley from last night’s win against Chippenham Town FC has committed his future to the club for the 2020/21 season.
“Danny has worked with this 30 year old midfielder in the past and wanted to add that bit more experience to the squad. Having impressed in latter friendlies, Danny was pleased that Harrison agreed to join the crusade. We all welcome Harrison to Bulpit Lane.”
