Reading City have added another forward to their squad for the upcoming 2020/21 season with the capture of Brad Farren.
The striker, who scored in the Cityzens pre-season friendly win over Camberley Town, joins the club having scored nine goals in 14 games for Bracknell Town’s reserve side in the Suburban League last season as well as 44 goals in 24 games for Maidenhead United in the 2018/19 Allied Counties Youth League.
Manager Simon Johnson was delighted to get his man, saying on the clubs website: “We’ve been looking to add another centre forward to our ranks for the season ahead and Brad fits that role perfectly. He’s a young, strong, aggressive forward, who will really add some quality to our squad”.
City have made a number of signings in recent weeks including midfielder Lewis Bebb, also previously with Bracknell.
