Bracknell Town midfielder Kensley Maloney generated an awful lot of love on social media after announcing his departure following four successful seasons with the club.
The good news for Robins fans is that it looks like Maloney will be pushing himself on as a footballer having joined BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South side Harrow Borough – a move the midfielder has confirmed to Football in Berkshire.
Maloney – one of the first signings through the door when Mark Tallentire took over in the middle of the 2015/16 season looks set to go head to head with former team mate Chris Grace next season who earlier in the summer joined Hendon.
Speaking to FiB, Tallentire said: “Kensley came with me from Burnham to Bracknell when times were hard. He is a great player and he will be a tough act to follow.”
West London side Borough finished seventh last season and Maloney will have a quick reunion with his former side when the two clubs meet in a pre season at Harrow on Saturday 3rd August.
