Experienced centre back Matty Day has been has joined Evo Stik Southern League side Thatcham Town, the club has confirmed.
Day spent the 2018/19 season with Bracknell Town where he was part of the side that narrowly missed out on promotion from the Bostik League South Central Division One.
The centre back played 39 times last season after joining the Robins having previously played for Wealdstone, and was previously a long serving player at the Kingfishers West Berkshire neighbours Hungerford Town.

Day started his career at Portsmouth before moving to Oxford United and then spent a seven year spell at Hungerford under manager Bobby Wilkinson.
When Wilkinson left Hungerford to take over National League side Wealdstone, Day was his first signing.
Speaking to the Thatcham Town website, Day said: “I know quite a few of the players, particularly Paul Strudley, Scott Rees and Gareth Thomas. The squad looks really promising and there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be targeting promotion this season. When I have won promotion in recent seasons it has been through the play-offs, so it would be great to go one better this time.”
