Flying Bracknell Town winger Seb Bowerman has turned down a lucrative offer to join Bostik League Premier Division side Dorking Wanderers reports the Bracknell News.

Dave Wright writes that Bowerman was offered a four-figure signing fee by the club as well as possibly earning a five figure sum over the remainder of the season.

Bowerman, a former Binfield player, has though turned down the potential move. He said to Wright: “Yes, it was tempting,” he admitted. “The offer came from a good club with a good manager. He spoke to me and it was an attractive offer.

“But for now I know Bracknell is the right place to be. I had assurances from them.”

In Wright’s piece, which you can read here, there are comments from Bowerman’s manager at Bracknell, Carl Davies as well as chairman Kayne Steinborn-Busse.

Bowerman was one of the first players to head to Larges Lane when Mark Tallentire took over in the 2015/16 season and has to date scored 60 goals in 124 appearances.

The article also reports that Liam Ferdinand – on his way to the Falkland Islands for an FA Representative fixture at the weekend – was the subject of interest from a Southern League and a Bostik Premier club.
