It’s been a quiet day monitoring the transfers of Hellenic League clubs. All our local sides have seen fit not to add to their squads today, but there’s still a couple of days left before the registration window closes.
One club who may not to add any players to their squad is Abingdon United. Their Development side ran out 17-0 winners against local rivals Abingdon Town in the Hellenic Division Two East game on Tuesday evening (albeit playing against an Town team who finished the game with only seven players on the field).
Not only that, but Abingdon’s very own international defender Jayce Olivero played for Gibraltar U21s against Russia U21s on Tuesday night.

In (not Hellenic League) news Combined Counties club Chertsey Town have signed five players today: Craig Ferguson, Connor Harbridge, Mo Maaw, Tyler Mansell and Matthew Willett.
The Curfews recently appointed former AFC Wimbledon and St. Albans manager Dave Anderson as their new boss, and he’s wasted no time bringing a group of his own players in.
Hopefully we’ll have more to report for you tomorrow in the last few days of the Hellenic League registration window.
