Wokingham & Emmbrook add some Hellenic League experience to squad

Wokingham & Emmbrook manager Clive McNelly has been in touch this afternoon with news of the signature of Jack Gibbs.

McNelly said: “I’m please to announce the return of Jack Gibbs to Wokingham & Emmbrook Football Club, I’ve be keen to sign the former Suma for some time and was relieved when the left sided player finally put pen to paper yesterday.”

Gibbs made 24 appearances for Binfield last season scoring twice, but wasn’t signed on at Stubbs Lane for 2016/17.

“Although still a young man in the grand scheme of things,  Jack bring loads of Hellenic League experience to our side and hopefully it will give everyone at Lowther Road a little lift.” McNelly continued.

Gibbs joins recent signings Jake Bailey from Woodley United and Jordan Goddard from Henley Town as well as former Binfield team mate Tom Williams.
