Dover delight despite Maidenhead United’s Plate exit
Alex Dover played 90 minutes for Maidenhead United for the first time in 5 years. Dover has been a stalwart of the Magpies but recent years have been marred by ACL injuries.
September 2023 saw her have her second ACL reconstruction surgery having previously had the same procedure in September of 2021.
The 2025/26 season kicked off her 17th season of football which included leading the squad out in their FA Cup tie

A right Royal league cup performance
An emphatic effort from Reading against Kidlington in the SRWF League Cup. The home side netted 11 goals against the Division One North visitors. Nat Cowell with four goals to her name alongside five other scorers.

Reading will now face Penn & Tyler’s Green in the Second Round of the competition. They’re likely on the hunt for silverware this season having been knocked out the FA Cup and the County Cup early doors.

Finchampstead fire five against Ashridge Park
Ashridge Park welcome Finchampstead to Cantley Park in this all Berkshire tie with the visitors the victors.
Finch were straight out the traps with just three minutes on the clock before their first goal was scored by Ruby Huggins. Ashridge did strike back in the 73rd minute to deny a clean sheet but two more goals from Finch were enough to put the game to bed.
Finch are hot on the heels of a promotion race just four points behind Eversley & California with 3 games in hand.
