A tough afternoon for both Berkshire sides in the 2021/22 FA Cup First Qualifying Round as Ascot United and Bracknell Town exited the competition.
For Ascot, the Road to Wembley ended in Kent as Isthmian League Division One side Hythe Town edged it 1-0 with a 60th minute goal despite a monumental push late on from Jamie Tompkins side.
George Lock was again the star for Ascot, making a goal line clearance and almost equalising in the final moments of the game.

A dramatic afternoon as well for Bracknell who were on the end of a 2-0 defeat at Isthmian League Division One Burgess Hill Town.
The game was marred by an injury to Burgess Hill’s Andy Herring, an incident that saw Bracknell’s Temi Eweka sent off in the 65th minute.
The Robins had already been forced in to a change in the first half with goalkeeper Mark Scott replaced by Joe Whiter on 38 minutes but the sides went in level at half time.
Burgess Hill broke the deadlock on 47 minutes and Trey Masikini scored his and his sides second on the hour before Eweka was sent off for Bracknell.

Our thoughts are with Andrew today. Football doesn’t matter at this time, his recovery does!@Official_BHTFC deserved their win today but myself & the club will support Andrew in anyway we can.
All the best in the next round and for the rest of the season. https://t.co/H2ZOSO705h
