It’s all about the penalty shootout at the moment after Wokingham & Emmbrook beat Wallingford Town to reach the semi-finals of the Hellenic League Supplementary Cup on Saturday.

The semi-final though will move to Sunday 23rd after a request from the Sumas that many at the club planned to support their neighbours Binfield in the FA Vase Final on Saturday.

Wallingford had led 2-0 through Charlie Silkstone at half-time but the Sumas fought back with goals from Jack Mullan and Nick Bateman.

In the shootout, which Wokingham won 5-4, Bateman, Dan Carter, Mullan, Mark O’Connell and Brandon Curtis all scored with young Allied Counties goalkeeper Aron Kanyai making the crucial save on his debut.
