A Josh Dillon double secured three points for Virginia Water in one of the few Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division to survive a number of Covid-19 related postponements on Saturday.

Ceri Jones side hosted Longlevens at Stag Meadow on a good run of three games without defeat – two draws and a win – and made it four with two second half strikes from Dillon who breaks the excellent stat of all of the Waters nine previous league goals being scored by nine different players.

Binfield at Brimscombe & Thrupp, Windsor at Shrivenham and Reading City at home to Ardley United were all postponed due to Covid-19 precautions.

The Division One East program held up stronger on Saturday but the results weren’t necessarily in favour of the Berkshire sides.

Of the three in action on Saturday, only AFC Aldermaston posted three points after a 2-0 win at Abingdon United – goalscorers yet to be confirmed. There was a 4-3 defeat for Chalvey Sports at home to Milton United – Ayden Christian-Coomber, Riccardo Cannon and Jason Marney on the scoresheet while Holyport were beaten 1-0 by Long Crendon at Summerleaze.

There was one other game on Friday night as Langley and Kidlington Development added another six goals to an aggregate score over their two matches so far that now totals 16. Billy Case filed a report you can read here.
