BetVictor Isthmian League South Central Division One side Bracknell Town went out of the Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Cup on Tuesday night following a 2-1 defeat at Hungerford Town.

The match saw the return of former Crusaders boss Bobby Wilkinson to Bulpit Lane but his new side were unable to get the better of Vanarama National League South Hungerford as they had two seasons before.

There was an early enforced change for the Robins as new signing Romario Jonas was replaced after 15 minutes and Zidan Akers put Hungerford in front 10 minutes later. Matt Berry-Hargreaves then doubled the lead for Ian Herring’s side before the break.

On the hour mark though Bracknell were back in it when Nebay Haile made it 2-1 and substitute Duarte Surpanu had chances to level things up but the Robins couldn’t get the equaliser.
