Binfield moved up to eighth and ended Shrivenham’s impressive 17 game unbeaten run in Monday nights Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division clash at Hill Farm Lane.
The Moles won 3-1 courtesy of a 3rd minute Sean Moore strike and a double either side of half time by Danny Horscroft after the visitors had equalised on 17 minutes.
It could have been 4-1 as well but for a brilliant penalty save by the visiting goalkeeper which you can watch below.

Post match, Binfield manager Roger Herridge tweeted: “Great win last night, If only we had played like that all season! Shrivenham are a good side, there 9 and 10 a real threat so pleasing to pick up all three points. To a man we were superb.”

Down the B3018 at Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane ground, Wokingham & Emmbrook ended their Division 1 East campaign on a high, coming from behind to beat Penn & Tyler’s Green.
The Sumas were a goal down at half time but second half strikes from Connor Holland and Elliott Rushforth sealed the points and secure a 6th placed finish.
