Bracknell Town’s 100% record in the Bostik League South Central Division 1 is over but England international Liam Ferdinand rescued a point for the Robins in a 1-1 draw with Bedfont Sports.
Carl Davies side survived a first half penalty, saved by Mark Scott but Scott Harris scored for the visitors on 45 minutes.
It took until the 88th minute for league leaders Bracknell to level the scores and ensure they remain the only unbeaten side in the division, though Waltham Abbey replace Davies side at the top of the table after they won 3-0 at home to Uxbridge.
In the Hellenic League it was a bad day for the Eastern side of the Premier Division as Binfield were beaten 1-0 at home by Bishop’s Cleeve and Reading City were beaten 3-1 at home by Brimscombe & Thrupp, Adam Cashin-Murray got City’s goal.
There was also a 6-1 defeat for Virginia Water at Tuffley Rovers while in the Berkshire derby goals from Luqman Kassim and Nathan Minhas gave Ascot United a 2-0 win at Windsor.
