Binfield and Bracknell Town shared six goals in Thursday’s Allied Counties Youth League Central Division derby with the defending champions from Hill Farm Lane coming away with a 4-2.
Enow Ojong scored twice and Callum Wright got on the scoresheet as Binfield raced to a 3-0 half time lead while Bracknell hit back in the second half only for Jamie Griggs (pictured) to score Binfield’s fourth. The Bracknell goals came from Ellis Day and Sam Jones.
The Robins fared better in Tuesday nights home fixtures against Sandhurst Town at Larges Lane, winning 8-1 thanks to four goals from Alex Lacy and one each for Benjamin Collins, Day, Ethan Pinnock and Thomas Nower. Sandhurst’s goal came from Jamie Barrett.
Ascot United earned just their second win of the season with a 5-1 win over Highmoor Ibis, Matthew Dean scored two while James Richardson, Daniel Martin Cenzano and Yusef Gois all scored for the Yellamen.
