Ascot United ensured it was a short honeymoon period for new Burnham manager Alan Paris on Tuesday night with a much needed 2-0 win in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division.
The result came courtesy of goals from Jordan Ajanlekoko and Mo Davies and moves the Yellamen on to 10 points and above neighbours Woodley United who drew 1-1 with Thatcham Town on Monday night, on goal difference.
In the Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Cup it was a dream return for TJ Bohane who scored the fourth in Bracknell Town’s 6-0 rout of Aylesbury – Seb Bowerman and Joe Grant both scored twice while Adam Cornell bagged the other.

Wallingford Town went out of the Senior Trophy losing 2-0 to AFC Aldermaston, Kai Parton-Edey with both goals while Virginia Water hammered Aston Clinton Reserves 8-1 in the Hellenic League Challenge Cup.
