Binfield Reserves grip on a top five finish in the Suburban Football League Premier Division tightened with a 4-3 win at home to Tring Athletic on Saturday.

The Moles had an Aaron Rowland double as well as goals from Adel Bereksi and recent first team debutan Owen Powell to thank for the win that increased the lead over sixth placed Tonbridge Angels to four points – although the Kent side have a game in hand.

The result was Ellis Woods side fourth in succession and all the more remarkable after Tring won the reverse fixture 4-1 at the beginning of February with the run of form very welcome with a busy schedule of two games in three days coming up against Angels and league leaders Met Police – both at Hill Farm Lane.
