Jon Bennett opened the scoring in the first half before the visitors levelled, only for Liam Ferdinand to strike in the second to give the Moles the lead.

Late on Binfield goalkeeper Mo Nyamunga was substituted and replaced in the sticks by midfielder Jack Broome. Any nerves with the clock ticking down were quickly eradicated when Luke Hayden made it 3-1.

There was a long delay in the second half of the Reading Senior Cup tie between Wokingham & Emmbrook and Woodley United.
