Ellis Woods Binfield Reserves are at home on Monday night in the Suburban Football League Challenge Cup to Eversley & California (ko 7.45pm).

Update: This match has been postponed due to a frozen pitch

The Premier Division Moles face a strong looking Boars side who have only once lost in the Central Division 1 this season and will undoubtedly be looking for a scalp in the third round tie.

Both sides received a ‘bye’ in the first round with Binfield overcoming Ascot United in a two-legged second round tie, while Eversley beat Maidenhead United.

Eversley’s only defeat this season – including cup competitions – cam in mid September when they were beaten 3-2 by Hartley Wintney in the league.

Woods side won four of their last six games until a 5-2 defeat at Royston Town 10 days ago – Mo Davies and Aaron Rowland both scored for Binfield.

The winners will face either Corinthian Casuals or Leatherhead in the quarter finals.

On Tuesday night, Binfield’s first team head to Bracknell Town for an Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League fixture and the grand re-opening of Larges Lane.
