Bracknell Town’s youth team overcame their Ascot United counterparts 3-2 at Larges Lane on Tuesday night in the opening Allied Counties Youth League Central Division opener.

Tom Nower and Alexander Lacy got the goals for the Robins but the latter was later sent off for a second bookable offence.

The Robins included a familiar surname off the bench with Ernest Opoku-Ware making his debut

On Tuesday night, Premier Division champions Sandhurst Town (now in the Central Division) got their campaign underway with a 1-0 win over Camberley Town thanks to a Jamie Barrett goal at Bottom Meadow.

Binfield get their campaign underway with a home tie against Thatcham Town on Thursday night.

Allied Counties Youth League results:

  • Bracknell Town 3-2 Ascot United
  • Sandhurst Town 1-0 Camberley Town
  • Binfield vs Thatcham Town (Thursday)
