Allied Counties Youth League South Division leaders Camberley Town suffered defeat at home to title challengers Binfield on Monday night with youngster Eddie Lee firing a hat-trick in a 5-1 win.

Our man on the scene Jimmy Craske reports: ‘Binfield Youth won 5-1 at league leaders Camberley Town on Monday night. The goals included a hat-trick from Eddie Lee and one for Toby Illingworth as well as a wonder strike from George Armstrong.’

The young Moles, watched by first team manager Roger Herridge – had a 2-0 half time lead courtesy of Armstrong and Lee while the Krooners pulled one back before Binfield disappeared in to the distance.

Camberley – coached by Woodley United striker Charlie Oakley – scored in the second half through Luke Haskell but had Baillie McNamara sent off.

The young Moles hit the road to Milton Keynes on Sunday morning with a Berks & Bucks Youth Cup semi-final at Mursley United.
