George Lock scores on debut, Bracknell derby victory

George Lock immediately repaid the faith of new manager Roger Herridge with the opening goal in Binfields 4-0 Hellenic Premier win at Burnham.

The full back joined the Moles after being overlooked at Bracknell  and broke the deadlock after half time against rock bottom Burnham.

Liam Ferdinand and Matt Jones twice also scored for Binfield.

Bracknell Town won the derby at Ascot United thanks to goals from Kensley Maloney, Adam Cornell and TJ Bohane.

In Division 1 East Sam Lawrence played two days after getting married but his goal was only a consolation for Wokingham & Emmbrook in a 3-1 defeat at Holyport.

Finchampstead were beaten 3-0 at Penn & Tyler’s Green and Woodley United continued their 100% start with a 2-1 win at Chinnor.

Pete Wareing hit a hat-trick as AFC Aldermaston thumped Wantage Town Reserves 6-0 and there was a first Hellenic League win for Luke Turkington and Sandhurst Town as they beat Didcot Town Reserves 3-1.
