Friendly round-up: Bracknell in the goals but defeat for Moles

A busy afternoon for teams in the pre season build up as Bracknell Town won on the road and Binfield were beaten.

New striker Ian Davies scored a hat trick as Bracknell Town won 5-1 at Southern League Wantage Town.

Binfield also faced Southern League opposition as they welcomed Chalfont St Peter to the Piggott School but were on the end of a 4-1 score line.

Former Wokingham & Emmbrook striker Luke Scope got the Moles consolation.

Elsewhere Woodley United were beaten 3-2 by Thames Valley League champions Reading YMCA, Finchampstead were beaten 5-1 by Burnham and Sam Barratt started and played 45 minutes for League 1 side Bristol Rovers in their 2-0 defeat to Exeter City.

Wokingham & Emmbrook notched up a healthy win of their own with a 7-1 win over Berks County. Charlie Scope and Elliott Rushforth got themselves a double each while Sam Bateman Sam Whiting and Ben Findley were also on the scoresheet.
