Shai Humphries is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Manager of the Season (Women’s Game).
The Sumas are mid-table in the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League Division Three South and reached the second round of the League Plate.
One nomination for the award said: “Shai has turned the Wokingham Town Ladies around. Working tirelessly with the ladies team for several seasons, we are seeing a return of her her work.
“This season has been one of most successful, from her hard work in training seasion and concentrating on individual and group development.
“Last season, we only had one win and three points. This season we are much more competitive. We’re sitting in mid-table. We have 21 points so far this season, and have met our pre season goals on team position.
“Not only on the pitch are we making waves, but she is continuously working on team spirit, inclusiveness and not just with our ladies team, but with our junior girls and boys.”
Another simply added: “Shai works tirelessly to keep us at our best performance and as well as our best selves she looks after all her players.”
