Yateley United have appointed the former Sandhurst Town and Holyport Adam Hopkins boss as their new manager. Jamie Cleary will also join the Yateley United staff as the club look to continue their progress at Step Six level.
Hopkins led Sandhurst Town to a tenth place finish in the Combined Counties Premier Division South before guiding Holyport to an eighth place finish in Combined Counties Premier Division North. He now heads to another new division as Yateley United are to join the Wessex League from the 2025/26 season.
In a statement on X, Adam Hopkins says: “Anyone who knows us will know that we will look to play an attacking and attractive style of play that will be easy on the eye. We are determined to bring the success and promotion that the club crave. We all look forward to a bright future and a successful partnership.”
Yateley United will join newly promoted west Berkshire club Kintbury Rangers in the Wessex League Division One as well as AFC Aldermaston.
