Ava Broke-Smith is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Young Player of the Season (Female) sponsored by Procision Football Academy.
The nomination we received for the award said: “17 year old winger Ava has enjoyed an excellent first season with Maidenhead United, immediately impressing in the Magpies Development team to the extent that she has already been promoted to make three appearances for United’s FAWNL senior squad to date. Ava has scored 7 goals for the Development team, including a dazzling hat-trick in the Magpies Berks & Bucks Trophy success which included goals with both her left and right foot.
“Two-footed Ava shows much promise with her pace, ball-control and exciting will and ability to take players on. The Bradfield College student looks set to be the latest home-grown talent to make an impression on the Berkshire women’s football scene and her management team including Ed Jackson-Norris have have high-hopes for this hard-working young player.”
