Peter Stevens is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Clive McNelly Volunteer of the Season sponsored by Supporters Trust at Reading.
The re-formed Windsor & Eton have enjoyed a whirlwind two seasons, the men’s team winning promotion to the Combined Counties League Division One last season and looking well set to finish this season as title winners under Matty Angell while the clubs new women’s team has enjoyed a strong first season.
Lots of work at Stag Meadow today 🙌

Huge thanks as always to Peter & Anne Stevens who do a sterling job after games ensuring the ground is always clean and tidy 👏👏👏 pic.twitter.com/QiDRaSt9Xg
The nomination for Peter that we received said: “Windsor and Eton FC blood runs through Peter’s veins. Old and new alike. I know he has worked on the appearance of Stag Meadow. More importantly, he leaflets thousands of homes in the Windsor area encouraging people to come to our home games. He does this a handful of times a year so as not to overdo the message.”
