In a rain-affected Saturday of FA Vase Third Round ties, Windsor & Eton could host nearby Burnham subject to the outcome of rearranged fixtures.
Windsor & Eton were certainly already looking ahead to the Fourth Round draw when at 3-0 up in the second half, their game at VCD Athletic was abandoned due to an injury to a home player.
Jatinder Liddar, Ben Catt and Pawel Kowallkowski had all scored for the Royalists who were ‘cupsetting’ their Step 5 hosts who also happen to be leaders of the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division.
There was no such drama for Burnham, their fixture at Epsom & Ewell had been called off earlier in the day – but both the Blues and Windsor have been drawn together in the Fourth Round should they progress.
There was less positive news for Tadley Calleva who went down 3-1 away to AFC Whyteleafe despite Kieran Rodgers opening the scoring after just eight minutes.
