Ellie Bennett of Holyport is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Physio of the Season.

One nomination for the award said: “Ellie has been an integral part of Holyport’s past few seasons. She always has such a positive attitude and is an outstanding professional. Our team feel completely confident with Ellie looking after them, she is available to get in contact with any time of the day and will always go above and beyond to ensure everyone is recovering well. As well as her Physio duties Ellie has also run Yoga sessions for us this year and without her the team would not be what it is, she is part of the family.”

Another added: “Ellie is the most selfless person I know. First to every game and last to leave, even when she was concussed (by a Broadfields player!!) earlier in the season and had to miss some games she arranged another physio to cover, checking in on players. Her mum even sends cakes in for the players. Ellie is a massive part of the family at Holyport and we are very lucky to have her with us. She was also on the pitch helping Flackwell players at the weekend as they suffered a few head injuries.”

Agree that Ellie Bennett should be up for the Physio of the Season award? Or do you have someone else in mind? Let us know in the nomination form below:
