Thatcham Town’s Harry Hoath is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Young Player of the Season (Male).

Hoath was with Holyport last season in the Combined Counties League where he impressed enough for a shot at Step 4 with the Kingfishers.

One nomination for the award said: “Second most appearances for the blues. Helped Thatcham reach their best league position yet only 19 years old. His fellow players has said he is the most reliable, best left foot, best team player.”

Another added: “Top player! Never to shy to get stuck in and has some fantastic strikes! Player of the year for sure!”

A third simply said: “It’s all about the consistency of performances and he has rated highest in my opinion.”

Agree that Owen Armstrong should be up for the Supporter of the Season award? Or do you have someone else in mind? Let us know in the nomination form below:
