Reading FC Women fan Amy-Louise Maddison is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Supporter of the Season.

The Royals are in a relegation scrap in the FA Women’s Championship this season but that hasn’t dulled Amy-Louise’s dedication.

The nomination we received for this award said: “Amy is undoubtedly the #1 Reading FC Women supporter. She literally bangs the drum for them at the stadium as well as figuratively away from it. She is heavily involved in the fan’s social media feeds and chat.

“She will have driven a staggering 5,000 miles to matches by the end of the season. Including a 649 mile round trip to be at the London City Lionesses match and endured a 21 hour return journey by coach to go to Southampton.”

Agree that Amy-Louise Maddison should be up for the Supporter of the Season award? Or do you have someone else in mind? Let us know in the nomination form below:
