Maidenhead United progressed in the Berks & Bucks FA Senior County Cup tie on Monday night to setup a mouthwatering fixture against MK Dons.

The Quarter Finals of the 2023/24 men’s competition still has a work-in-progress feel to it, but the withdrawal of Wycombe Wanderers does simplify things a little.

Burnham have the plum tie at home to troubled Reading, but Maidehead United’s 4-0 win at home to Milton United see’s the Magpies host MK at York Road – a Shawn McCoulsky hat trick and one from Jaydn Dundas seeing the Vanarama National League side through.

Meanwhile, we still await the completion of the Third Round tie between Winslow United and Risborough Rangers (30th Jan) with the winners facing Marlow in the Fourth Round.

The winners of that will earn a bye to the semi finals thanks to Wycombe – see, simplified!

Then there’s the small matter of Reading City vs Flackwell Heath (date tbc) who’ll face Beaconsfield Town in the Fourth Round.

Berks & Bucks County FA Quarter Final Draw

  • Burnham FC v Reading FC
  • Maidenhead United v Milton Keynes Dons
  • Winslow United or Risborough Rangers or Marlow FC v (BYE)
  • Beaconsfield Town v Reading City or Flackwell Heath
