New Maidenhead United Women signing Freya Meadows-Tuson settled in comfortably on debut with the Magpies recording an impressive 8-0 win in West Sussex.
Maidenhead were at the FA Women’s National League Division One South West’s bottom side Selsey who had no response to the rampant Magpies.
Meadows-Tuson – described as ‘a different level’ by one match-going fan – signed in the week after being released by Reading FC Women but it was goals from Megan Halfacree, Macey Nikiah-Walters (2), Simone O’Brien, Aleasha Lunn (2), Izzy Stockton and an own goal that did the damage.

Elsewhere in the Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division, it was 150 up for Nicole Haines who reached a century-and-a-half milestone of appearances for Woodley United as the Kestrels drew 1-1 at home to Warminster Town with a goal from Gemma Sims.
Division leaders Ascot United were in cup action and took Woking to penalties in the 3-3 draw – winning 3-1 on penalties.
