Bracknell Town made more history on Tuesday night as the Robins won the Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Men’s Cup for the first time in the clubs history.
The Robins – last in the Final in 2004 – beat Marlow 1-0 courtesy of a strike that deflected off Darryl Sanders on 50 minutes.
The strike from George Knight on the edge of the box took a wicked deflection off Sanders and passed Aaron Watkins in the Blues goal.
GOAL!!! 1-0 to @BracknellTownFC !!!!

The win will be some comfort for Bracknell but little for Marlow who battled in vein to find a way back – both sides suffered play off heartbreak this season in their league campaigns.
For Bracknell though it caps what has been a fine, record breaking and historic season. And they’ll be ready to do it all again in a few months time.
